well i test flew my magic today with a brand new magnum XLS .46, and wow did it fly. the plane came out to about 3.5 lbs which helped to achieve unlimted verticle. it rolled out about 3 ft give or take a few. conditions where very ideal with a north wind around 6 mph only. best part was i took off and no trim was needed [X(][X(]. wow the rolls and spins where incredible sadly there was no knife edge, and outside manouvers are not possible with the balence where it is but its flew like magic and she is a keeper. i felt like kicking my self because i forgot the digi camera so when i got home i took some pics.[img][/img]

nice one mate i use to have a magic but i got rid of it to get a cougar but the cougar and magic flys pretty much the same but out last week with my mates heres is a pic of me prophanging it...this magic has a leo 37 what a lovely little engine for it...

i have a magic with a OS 40 la, with a 12.25 x 3.75 pro. Believe it or not, it hovers and unlimited vertical. This plane taught me all i kno. I have experimented with all sorts of things on this plane. Its the BEST!

Heh, yes the folks at my field are now all getting these after watching mine, it's the latest fad [X(] That IS one of the great things about this particular plane, you can fly it with just about any personality you like from trainer to wild 3D aerobat.

Yes the Magic is a good plane. I am on my 3rd one. I tend to fly them rough and hard. ( Stress test) Mine has a 46 fx with a 12x4 apc and rockets out of hovers like nobodys business...It blenders into a blurr and flat spinns as fast as a rotar on a heli.
The only cons with this one is NO KE and the landing gear SUX!!!! On the landing gear I suggest going to your favorite hardware store and buyung some 3/4"x1/8"x3' alluminum flat bar and make you some mains out of that...Works GREAT. Or you can buy some LIGHT alluminum gear from Tower or something... All in all it's a great, fun plane and you will get hours and hours of enjoyment...

Yep, one great airplane! After my friends at the club saw me 3Ding mine they all went out and got them. Well after like 400 flights of hard 3D It needs a recovering. The plane takes off in an inch with flapperons and the Thunder Tiger Pro 46. Yeah I know the gear break easily but they saved the Magic when I ran out of fuel at 2 inches in a torkroll. And as other people have found out, its ability to get out of trouble quickly is great!
