Does anybody know of a 3D capable ARF Biplane for my Saito .72. I have looked at the Dave Patrick .46 size and the Global .46 size planes but I am unsure if they are truly 3D capable. Any help you guys can give me is appreciated. Thanks.

I have a 40 size Dave patrick ulty with a saito 72 for power. As far as I can tell it is 3d capable. Although it is not an easy plane to 3d. I also have a Funtana, which is a lot easier to 3d with. I'm not sure how to describe the differences. Except to say that the dp does not float. It will snap out of certain inverted manuvers. It weights 5lbs 3oz. So it is by no means heavy. I've had it only for roughly a month now, so I am just now starting toi get used to the way it flys. It does hover and torque roll with ease. Plenty of power to punch out of a hover too. The plane will harier very nicely upright. Elevators are fairly solid depending on how you enter into it. I can't get it to waterfall. The CG is right behind the rear center wing strut. I also located the gas tank on the CG. I have all I can get on my control throws. This plane is a knife edge maniac though
Knife edge loops are no sweat. The plane is sorta funny it does some manuvers extremely well and some it won't, or atleast I haven't been able to get it to do them yet...lol
good luck
