DP Edge
Chip's new Cap-X due in a week or so
GP Patty Wagstaff
Kangke Texas Hurricane or Laser 2000
Pretty much anything up to about 15 pounds and you've got a winner...

Go with the DP Edge540. I have one with a Moki 2.10 (just got home from putting another four flights on it) and it is an awesome combo. If you liked the extra you will love the edge and if you are tired of a yellow airplane it comes in blue.

If you want absolutely mind blowing ballistic performance, but are not all that concerned about looks, then check out the OMP Giant edge.

WELL THANKS FOR ALL THE INPUT. I WENT AND GOT THE H9 CAP 232 80". I GOT A REAL GOOD DEAL ON A BRAND NEW ONE. I HAVE TO ADMITT. ITS THE NICEST LOOKING PLANE THAT IVE EVER OWNED. I LIKE MY WORLD MODELS 300 VERY VERY WELL. AND WOULD NEVER BE WITHOUT IT. BUT THIS CAP LOOKS BETTER THAN ANY OTHER ARF IVE OWNED. IVE LIKED ABOUT ALL MY PLANES BUT THIS ONE TAKES THE CAKE. NOW I JUST GOT TO GET ALL MY HARDWARE.. CAN HARDLY WATE TO GET GOING ON IT. WHY IS WINTER SOOO LONG.. THE DP EDGE LOOKS VERY TASTY. BUT FOR NOW THIS WAS MOST AFFORDABLE.. AND I HOPE MY MOKI WILL MAKE IT SING.. I NEVER REALIZED THAT HANGER NINE MADE SUCH A NICE PLANE. IF IT FLYS AS GOOD AS IT LOOKS ILL BE SET.. WELL AGAIN THANKS FOR THE INFO... OH WHAT MOTOR MOUNTS ARE U GYS USING WITH THE MOKI. I SEE IT SAYS USE THE MOKI MOUNT. BUT I THOUGHT MAYBE A BEAM TYPE OR SO WOULD WORK. THANKS AGAIN BILL

MOPAR, you're in for a real treat. I liked my H9 80" Cap so much that when it went in (funny, planes don't fly so good when you forget to charge the Rx batteries....
) I bought a second one!
Seriously, I too have a Moki 2.10 and perfomance was sparkling. I kept mine just under 15lbs , by using a NIMH pack (works great when you remenber to charge it!) and omitting a pilot figure. Vertical was excellent and hovers at about 2/3 stick. For my style of flying, the APC 20X8 worked best.
I have assembled around 20 ARFs for myself and others over the last couple of years and agree that hands-down this is the best quality ARF I've EVER seen. Heck the servo cutouts are even done for you and the Alitalia graphics are pre-applied. The fit of the wing and stab to the fuse was also perfect. If only it had a two-piece wing I think it would've been very popular.

You may want to go with the moki mount. the fire wall is spaced just for the moki mount. Dan has this cap with a DA 50. The moki should work great. Dans only weighs 14#. You should stop over and look at Dans to see what hardware he used. He put some really nice looking hardware on it.

I'm building the H9 Edge 540 (78" wingspan - approx 12lbs) and have ordered a Moki 2.10. Is this going to be to much engine??? I have been told the Moki 1.80 would be a good choice for this plane, but Chief Aircraft is selling the 2.10 for only $10.00 more than the 1.80. Does anyone have this combo??

The H9 edge is made to balance with a saito 180 with battery up front. The Moki 180 is heavyer than the saito and the 210 is 5 oz more than the 180 moki. Put 2 elevator servos on the tail and that will help. And mount the battery rearward. but wing loading will be high.

The Moki 2.1 is about 16 oz. heavier then the Saito 1.80. I don't think I would add the weigh. If you wanted to look at another choice take a look at the OS 160. Personally I would use a YS.
