i do not know much about 3D/pattern flying. therefore, could you please let me know, what figures/patterns there are, meaning their names and how you fly them. is there any website out there, where i could look up all this information? your help is highly appreciated! thank you.

The AMA rulebook has a description of most non-3D pattern aerobatics. You can download the rule book from thier web site, www.modelaircraft.org
