Default Paramount Freestyle?

I have read the review of this plane here on RCU, but has anybody else flown one? After the demise of my UCD3D I am looking for something for 3D that can utilize the O.S. .91 that is now just sitting on my bench. This plane is a little smaller than the .60 size UCD but the wingloading should be very close ( if the manufacturers advertised weight is correct). The plane isn't a looker, but I want performance. The paramount should be a pound lighter than my UCD. Sounds good. Any thoughts?

Contempo, Will this plane have another brilliant logo like the "CREST" logo on your former UCD? I do believe you have found the one plane that is uglier than the UCD. Joe

The "CREST" thing just seemed so natural with the color scheme of the UCD. This Paramount is but ugly! The only thing it suggests is "recover me, please!"

Just wondering if anyone has flown it. It is going to need a lot of glowing flight reviews to get me to overlook the aesthetics of the color scheme.

Sorry, but I happen to think the Paramount 60 looks pretty darn good. Course I've got an Ultra Stick 120 Lite too, so maybe I'm blind when it comes to covering schemes.

Noticed that they've got a "46" size paramount (like the UCD 46) called Paramount 52/70 ARF. I also like the prospects of the new Excelleron 90 ARF by Sportsman Aviation too.

I actually won the Paramount 60 in a raffle at the Best in the West jet rally last weekend. When I get back to the midwest from vacation, I'm going to go right at it. Looks like it will be a fun plane. I fly an ugly stick now, so this should be a good change

I have the 60 size about to go back in the air. It was marketed as a JR Explorer 3-D and now global is selling them. I originally put a YS.53 a in it as that was JR's suggestion. It lacked enough to pull out of a hover but showed the plane flew very well other wise. I have swapped the YS .53 for a OS .61 FX. I hope to get a bit more power and will post the results. Hope to fly this weekend if the weather holds out.

Regards
Bill
