It's pretty bad that I'm now 39 and JUST getting into the sport. I have self taight myself with the G2 flight system from Real Flight for about 2 years.

4 or 5 electric fighterbirds (not a real airplane, most in pieces)

Alpha 40 trainer (broken and fixed that I can call it a scratch built by now)

H-9 Twist with a Saito .72

Radio JR 6102PCM.

Hey

Im 15 and im flying since 5 years now...
I don't have a lot of planes but the one I have are cool and solid!!! hehe
Let's start,

-H9 Easy 2 w/OS 46FX
-H9 P-51D Mustang w/Saito 100
-H9 Funtana w/Saito 72
-Midwest Starduster w/Saito 56
-Midwest Cap 232 w/Saito 100 again
-Kyosho Spree Sports
And sooner or later a Jr Venture and a Big Cap 232 or Extra 330

The first time I flew an airplane I landed it 18 times in the middle of the runway without any errors so I got my wings like after 2 flights the same day... LoL ;-) If you want more info you can visit my new website (www.teamcmb.qc.tc)

Thanks

I have had all the fun in the world with this hobby. I don't know what I would do if I didn't know about it. But of course, you can't miss something you didn't ever have!!

Happy Flying!!

Wow, I really didn't realize how many younger people, myself included at 15, were flying planes. I knew there were a few, but didn't know there were this many. WOW.

SukhoiKid, I'm interested in those videos. You can post them here, or send them to my e-mail: [email protected].
I just have ask, what do you do to pay for all your planes. I pay for everything. That's why I only have 5.

Hey, islandflyer
how does that Funtana fly with that Saito 91. I am probably going to get that for X-mas like I was saying, and that is the exact engine I'm looking at. How is the hovering, and pull out with it, and what prop are you using? Thanks

since then i've been in and out of several planes...lets see if i can remember them all........

first of course, the eaglet 50
stinger 40
tiger trainer 40 (2 of them)
a built some kind of sport trainer thing, cant remember the name....high wing, tail dragger, sym. airfoil, came in a 40 and 60 size...any idea??? it was a LONG time ago...
Global Tecate biplane (tequila sunrise, but bigger with another wing)
eflite tribute
CG yak 55
some giant glider...not sure what
e-flite Yak 54
funtana40
U-Can-DO 60 with saito FA125
cox micro F4U corsair warbird (cool)
a bunch of scratchbuilt models from my own plans
And my latest and best flying plane out of all of them, is the new E-Flite BypYak...i cant say enough about it! if you have the means, GET ONE!

Default RE: How many planes

I'm age 65 and retired US Air Force. I started flying control line in 1971, then converted to RC in 1972.
Carl Goldbert Falcon 56 was my first plane. I learned how to fly at a local club in Roseville CA.
I then flew:
The Sweet Stik
Top Flite Contender
Windward Glider
Top Flite P-51
Top Flight Taurus pattern ship
I gave up RC in 1978 because my two boys were not interested and I wanted to have a hobby with them.
So, we did a lot of fishing and hunting.
Now, here it is after a 30 year break in RC I'm back into it again along with my oldest son.
I re-started in electric RC. First with Real Flight Sim, then Artek Wing Dragon 4. After about 20 flights
bought a GWS Slow Stick and slapped on a 450XT from JustGoFly. Also now use that same motor
on a Mellenium Slow Stik X (Great flyer)
Planes in the hangar are: Eflite Sea Fury and soon the Ultimate Bipe from Nitro
Hope to get back into gas maybe next year. Didn't realize how much I have missed all these years.
My radio is a used 9C from Ebay converted to 2.4ghz by Futaba.
