Default C-ARF Yak-55sp

I have been flying the simulator model for some time now. Does anyone have a real one, and how do they fly? I see that they came out with a 2.6m size, i have a DA-100 that should go with it nicely. Looking for some info. other than there web site. Thanks[sm=spinnyeyes.gif] TomBob

Hello Tom

I have been flying the C/A Yak for about year, and I will tell you that there is nothing els on the planet that fly like the this airplane. you will be very happy with your choice should you decide to purchase one of these.

Bob : Thanks for your reply, I have few questions if you don't mind,You must be flying the big one ,i think 42%. What motor are you using Just size I50 or larger? Are they accurate on there weight or do they low ball them? And have you had any problems with cracking of the airframe? Thanks again TomBob

Hello Tom

I am flying the 3.3M, they have been outfitted with DA 150s and KS 1090 tuned pipes, also I run Mejznik 32x10 propellers. With this combination the performance is very good. I have not developed structural cracks in any of my Yaks to date, and I fly them extremely hard. The best weight that I have seen on mine is 41.5 - 42 lbs.

Hello Tom

3D is its specialty, I use mine as my favorite everyday fun-fly. This airplane is amazing.
