Hey Mark,
I've seen tons of pilots doing slow, almost harrier style rolling circles and was wondering what inputs you use to maintain it? Is it just rudder, just elevator or are you combining both during the rolls? Thanks in advance.

I wrote an article about this for RC Universe a while back. I dont have the link to it, but I know that it is near the University section of the site. It is a two page article that explains the why and how to of Rolling Circles. The answer your question is yes, I do use rudder, and elevator to make things happen, but the most important is power. Use power to control altitude after you have found the rhythm of the Harrier Roller. Lots of Practice and Good Luck, Mark

What do you think would be better, a video or a book?
I will have more for you all tonight.
I am trying to put together a video that shows the why an aircraft does what it does and a second part showing how.
Talk to you all tonight.
Mark

A video showing both transmitter and airplane position would be great. But whatever your willing to provide will be most appreciated.

Thanks for your answer Mark........I've been practicing on the sim lately and hopefully will get it down. It's a little different for me as I fly mode 1. Can't help it, father and grandfather flew mode 1 so it's what I learned on. Switching now would be a nightmare and huge jump back. I'll look forward to seeing a video of it, thanks.
