Does anyone have plans to the Boxer 60 they would like to part with at a reasonable price?
The owner of Salient Designs passed away recently, and the plans are not available at the moment. I heard someone else was taking over the business, but I have no details.
Thanks

I flew the Rick Allison equivalent of the Boxer in pattern in the early 90's and did real well with it. It was a molded version and was called the "Cursor" It was a slippery little bugger. I bought plans for the boxer .60 but never had a chance to finish it. It's a great design and a smooth flyer. Have you tried any other sources for the plans? Good luck and let me know_bob

No luck on the plans yet. I have the instructions, but no plans. I have a OS 60 RE that needs a home. I need (want) a wood practice plane ( I leave the plane in the hot car all day, and fly after work. Fiberglass tends to warp under these conditions), and the Boxer seemed like a good choice. I also wanted a good building project for this winter. If you still have the plans and want to sell them, I guarantee they will go to a good home. You can contact me off line if you wish.

Hey guys...You don't have to give up your treasured old plan set, but you can help out another modeler who needs them, simply by taking your plan set to any of the duplicating services. Their machines use a roll of paper about three feet wide and a few hundred yards long...they'll duplicate anything you may have...and very inexpensively too. I had a huge 1/4 scale two page plan set copyed for $20.00. Be aware that the actual dimensions will change just a tiny bit on the copy. Inquire just how much at your copy service. I hope this helps...

GW,
It sounds like you have a copy of these plans. I would be glad to pay you for your expenses incurred copying the plans. You can e-mail me privately to work any details out if you wish.
Thanks

yes, i have a set i do not want to part with, but i can make a copy as someone mentioned in an above post. Let me check it out this coming week. Its about 10 sheets i think. Price to copy may make it too much. I will let you decide that. I would like to get a copy of the instuction set from you . I lost them years ago.
Keep in touch. My memory is not what it once was.

Kinko's has a huge copier that I've used before. They charge around $4 for 24 inch wide prints, and $8 for 36 inch wide prints. I'd be more than happy to pay for printing costs if anyone wants to help me out. Thanks.
