has anyone flown both?

they are similar in size and geometry. if the artist flys anywhere close to the seduction, I might just get the artist because it is an ARF. time sure is scarce now.

I can't help with your question, but I'd like to know about this artist...........I've not heard of it yet.

Thanks, Jim

I see it now, like you said it looks very similar to the Seduction freestyle. I have a diabolic (also from TopModels) and am very impressed with it, both the kit quality and the flying characteristics. I also have a Seduction Freestyle kit, but have not started construction yet.

I dont consider myself an expert kit builder, but my Seduction Freestyle went together in about 2 weeks at only an hour or so a night....this thing is (I cant believe I am admitting this) easier to build than my Sig Somethin Extra. It's laser cut, and very very easy to put together. It's taken me as long to cover it as it took to build. I am sure that I will order another one of these in the future.

I would stay away from anything with a 64A*** (that is what is on the Vector 2M pattern ship and it sucks!!) airfoil if you are looking for F3A pattern flying. Firstly they very laminar airfoils and do not stall well enough to perform precision snaps that are required for F3A. A 63A*** would be a much better choice with the high point further forward, also its better to have a little thinner root than tip over a constant thickness wing.

That being said, once I get my Seduction wing completed I will have to measure it to determine what they are using. Maybe it sucks too!! LOL

Default But....

You have to think the Artist was at least a little inspired by the Seduction, look at the upper fuse scheme, wing planform..I remember Knife Bro saying an ARF was coming, and maybe not from OK.

And now that I type this, I'll no doubt hear that the Artist preceded the Seduction..LOL

I am pumped that tmproff thought it built as easy (easier??) than a SE. That is good news, the SE was my first laser cut kit and I really liked parts that fit.

Maybe the Artist will fill the gap for people wanting a Seduction ARF...maybe it will fly as well.

Chuck,

The Seduction fuse can be built in about 2 hours, and I built both wings in one night at a leisurly pace. I think the designs are a notch up from those built here in the US. The way that you build the wing, it's almost impossible to warp it (unless you're trying). I thought it interesting that you build the horiz stab and the elevator at the same time and then cut them apart. It makes for a perfect fit. Same thing with the ailerons. You build the wing and then cut out the ailerons. Mine should be in the air by next week. I promise to post results and pics. Randy is supplying the graphics.....be sure to email him......

The geometry of the Artist doesn't look close to the pattern inspired tail moment of the Seduction. The Seduction is very close to th EZ Hyde-Away as a friend pointed out to me the other day. He gave me the landing gear from his, (crash victim) and it is a perfect match and is stiffer. Maybe this is an option for those who want stronger gear.
