Greetings,
I'm thinking of using for aileron the s9102 (futaba) or the hs-225mg (hitec) what is your opinion? the futaba is more expensive but it is coreless and dust proof
for the throttle i am using a s3101 (futaba) and for the rudder elevator i have not decided yet....like to hear your opinion on that too....you guys who have an experience with flying this ''dream'' which servos do you use, and why..
happy landings
cheers

I am running a Hitec HS81 mg for thottle, HS525 mg for ailerons, and HS 605 for rudder and elevator, these are run at 6V. i would not go below 5kg servos for tail.

I'm going Futaba 3001's all way around. For a plane of this size, (and it doesn't go that quick), I didn't think I needed such expensive servo's. Maiden flight this weekend......New Thread to come of my opinion.

As a couple of buddies over here taught me, flying does not need to be expensive to be fun. This plane was designed to be pure Fun, so don't worry about the servos too much. If you can afford digitals, don't worry too much about which ones as at the end of the day, they will be pretty much the same in a model of this size. Most of the 3D moves are done so slow anyway, that power isn't such an issue!
Enjoy!!!!!
Enjoy!!!!!

I'd like to use the new Hitec 5425MG digital minis. With 61OZ at 4.8 volts they appear to be ideal for rudder and elevator. I got a bunch of Hitec 225s for ailerons and will prolly pick up a Hitec 81 for throttle.

Pretty much everyone at my field loves the Hitec 225 series mini servo. I dont think I will ever buy a "Standard" type servo again, the Hitec 225 only cost a bit more are much faster, lighter, have BB, and much more torque. It's simply an awesome little servo.
