Default Books and tapes

There are book listed in most magazines (RCM and MAN) on the subject of aerobatics. If you can find someone in your local club that has the Dave Patrick "Wring it Out" tapes they will really give you a ton of information. Unfortunately they aren't produced any more. Tower Hobbies has the Chip Hyde tape listed. Dave Patrick has a book.

Look on the IMAC site (Scale Aerobatics) and download the sequences and judging criteria. It will give the downgrades so you will know what to look for as mistakes. www.mini-iac.com

Default I have found these two to be most helpful

Basic Aerobatis

Advanced Aerobatics

Both of these are by Geza Szurovy and Mike Goolian. They are for full size, however, most everything about aerobatic pertains to our smaller ones too.

Also, their insights as to what it takes to aquire and maintain an unlimited aerobat is interesting and fun to read.

Default Aerobatics question

All aerobatics are a combination of loops, rolls and snaps. A good next maneuver would be knife edge flight and then move onto point rolls then onto slow rolls, its a natural progression. Do each maneuver in each direction. From there you can do almost anything. Personally I recommend watching a RC aerobatics competition or even an IMAC comp. From here with your ultimate you could enter the basic events and from this you will learn more than you would ever do from watching a video or reading. I'm sure you could get someone there to show you one on one the correct ways to do a maneuver.

Default Wring it Out Tapes

This series of tapes is no longer being produced. There are 3 tapes in the collection. Check with your local club members to see if they have a set. Bill
