Working on the "Elevator"

Hey Guys,
Getting the hang of this 3D stuff now. I was working on my Elevators all weekend. Got them down pretty good, but the plane really wants to rock while it's dropping. Adding a click or two of power helps but slows it down too much. Like wise I tried using less up elevator and it still rocks. What gives? Is it possible my CG is too far back?
I want to avoid having to mix in up aileron. Oh yeah, the plane is a 1/4 Giles 202 with a 1.6 FX.

RickP,
I've been real busy getting ready for vacation coming up so I haven't flown the last few days. I will get a chance again this evening before our club meeting. Sounds like spoilerons are a necessity for performing stable elevators so I'll try that tonight and let you know how it goes.

Hey Guys,
Thanks for the support and suggestions so far. Wow, sounds like I should mix in the Spoilerons. I'm using a Futaba 6 channel computer radio. It's getting limiting now (only two positions on the DR) But I can mix in the up ailerons. I need a new radio, but that's the subject for a seperate thread.
Now let me just ask, how will the spoilreons effect my other manuvers? flat spins? Torque rolls?
I think I'm going to try shifting the CG forward just a bit first. I'll check back in later to let you know how it goes. I hope it's quite here today so I can get out early and try it out.

Rick,
If you are using the Futaba T6XAS radio you can mix in spoilerons with up elevator on one switch and on another you can mix in flapperon with up elevator. Makes for a very versatile plane.
I thought my T6XAS would be limiting as well. Its not, it just needed a little coaxing...
If thats what you are using and want to know how I did it let me know.

Weather and time did not allow for flying my Giles prior to the club meeting Monday night. I leave for vacation today so my flying will now be limited to the little Cub on floats for the next week and a half.
