Default Twist Advice Needed

Hey all,

I would like some suggestions on tuning my Twist for better hovering. I have a OS 50SX in the nose and it is balanced at about 4.25 from the LE. When I try to go into a hover, I get alot of wing rocking and I cain't seem to hold it in a very vertical position. I have pleanty of power as I can always power out. \\

How do you have your Twist set up?

Thanks,

Jimmy

Are you pointing the plane stright up or slightly forward? You might be in a steep harrier instead of a hover and wing rocking is a problem on these little ARF's. Point it straighter up or even slightly belly up. That might help.

I have the same engine you have, good choice. I have my c.g. more towards 5" back from the L.E. I can hover mine for a long time or until I want to do something else. I plan on tail touching it tomorrow if the weather is nice. Good luck.
