I built the Ultra Stick 60 using some of the ideas I saw in some RCU posts (rear mount rudder and elevator servos). For any of the folks out there that have done this too, I was wondering what you did to reinforce the holes in the fuselage that were cut to install the servos. I cut some small spruce strips and CA'd them on the inside of the fuselage so the screws holding the servos would have something more substantial to hold on to. Is this enough, or is more reinforcement needed?
Thanks!!!
Thanks!!!

I did the same to mine. I used lite plywood strips and med CA. 75 flights and no problems yet. It is one good flying airplane.

Not sure what type of wood it is, but it is 3/8 X 1/8. I used medium CA. I tried to make them as long as possible and still fit inside the fusealage.
Thanks

Good to know! I have been babying it worrying about the structural integrity of the rear mounted servos. I have been playing with the 'crow', and was wondering if you have programmed in the down elevator to completely eliminate the up attitude when crow is deployed or do you just manage it manually?
