I have seen quite a bit of discussion of adding weight to the nose of a ucd 46 to balance the tail and so I was wondering why I couldn't just put the motor mount on 1/2" standoffs to balance it. Has this been tried or discussed? I'm aware (obviously) that it changes the cowl.

you could do that but can't use the cowl . just add engine. it wouldn't be any fun with a engine that lite anyway
