Personally I like the 24x8 Menz. For 3D it has great torque and slow speed. The 50cc size singles like the high RPM range for power. Most of the torque is above 5000 RPM for these motors. the long light bite props do well. For a twin it is the opposite. THey have incredible torque available on the low end.

The NX 24x8 available from Airwild (and possibly Wild Hare) is also a very good prop. Haven't been able to compare it with the Menz, but getting 6450-6500 on a DA50 with Slimline pitts, not fully broken in. Very good performance on Wild Hare Edge at 17lbs. The Menz, NX type props are heads above Pro Zinger in my opinion and experience.

Most 50cc engines I've seen on aerobats prefer 22/8 to 24/8. Menz seems best, although don't count out Mejzlik carbon blades for a bit more money. If you're on a light budget, I'd recommend the Pro Zinger brand props. NOT THE REGULAR ZINGERS!!! Regular Zingers are very poor props.
Or you could buy a 22/8 PAC prop for about $175 hehe...

Where are you getting the Mejlik 23/8s from? DA's website only lists 23/10 and 24/10 no 23/8. I am currently running a 24/8 menz and would like the carbon option.

I bought my 23x8 from Gene Payson at Troy Built Models. www.troybuiltmodels.com. I don't know if they're specifically listed on his website but he seems to keep them in stock for the DA-50's he sells.

From what i see here, and i have been running the 10 inch, the 8s give better "spool up" and better breaking on the down lines. Sounds like the 10s are fine for average flying but not the best for extreme flying, if i'm reading this right.

What about a Bambula 22x10 or a Bambula 24x10? They're good.

Call RC showcase for the Bambula props. If they make it, he sells it. Don't know if they are listed on the website but I know the ph. number is.

You can't find a 24/8 because the same engine using a 24/8 wood prop will need a 23/8 CF prop due to the lack of flexing in the CF prop as compared to the wood prop. Troy Built Models has the CF 23/8 props on their website www.troybuiltmodels.com
