MO,
Unless you were living in a cave im sure you were aware that the XFC was going on this weekend!!! I was lucky enough to be able to make it and witness the incredible skill of all the pilots that competed. Each day was fun and exciting to watch, I have to give a big 32X10 to all the pilots. (thats Heitmann language for "PROPS")
When I get back home I will post some pics and videos of this weekend...

Final results:
Quique Somenzini
John Glezellis
Jason Noll
Baron Johnson
Chip Hyde
Jon Leyland
Mike McConville
Matt Steklachick
Wayne Geffon
Jason Danhakl
I'd venture to say John Glezellis would have had a repeat win of the XFC this year, less the crank twisting out of his model in the last unknown freestyle round today. Quique won by 1/2 point margin...
I stole that list from Michael Glavin's post in another thread..... Karl, those are some great pics!

Here are some of my pics from the weekend. But first I would like to thank Wayne for allowing me to be his caller. We had a great time. Roger Russell was brave enough to camp with us which made for great times when the flying stopped.

Here are some more. The gentleman in the picture with Jon and Wayne is Manuel Santos. He has to be the nicest guy I have ever met. He made the long trip from Mexico and brought a huge crew with him. He was AWSOME.

Last one is the camping crew. Josh Glavin, Mike Glavin, Chad (did not get a Last name), Roger Russell, Amy Green and myself. We had all kinds of fun when the sun went down. Josh became a pyro and wanted to light everything on fire, Roger was lead cook, Mike was Josh's mechanic. As you can see the Glavins and Chad were a little better off then me, Amy and Roger but it was home away from home.

Chris..
"Copy"
I have to agree with what Chris said about Manuel.
When we got back to the hotel Sunday night we helped Manuel and his crew get his plane into the crate for the trip back to Mexico City. He was so excited about everything that went on..
Manuel definately gets some 32x10.

Wayne, you are the man. I also have to give the brother from Mexico big big Props ( 32/11’s), for bringing it all the way from down south. He was a gentleman and a scholar. Hope he gets invited back next year. Wayne, you also brought it. I was really impressed with your flying brother.
A BIG COPY.

I also enjoyed talking with Manuel. He described in detail the procedure for shipping his plane to the US and the challenges he faced adapting to flight at near sea level vs the 8000 elevation of Mexico City. Hope to see him again sometime. Great times.
