Default A Day At The Field

I just thought I would share a little video we created here at the Helena, MT flying field. There’s not a lot of 3D but it’s pretty enjoyable just the same. I would also like to thank Greg Painter (of the Mountain Mod Mania snowmobile films) for his editing skills.

Absolutely great video, caught some of the really candid moments you see at the airfield from time to time. The little boy making his 1st heli solo looked like a veteran pilot, unbelieveable.
Truly one of the most enjoyable videos I have seen..

Thanks for all the kind words! I wish we could have captured more aerobatics but most of the flying is done fairly high, & without ground reference, it just isn’t very impressive looking.
The kids (Quay & Jentry) are picking up the flying thing very quickly. I should mention that although Quay has no problem hovering & flying circuits with my heli (he started flying helis only two months ago) the footage in the video was set up as a joke as the actual pilot for that scene was to the left & just out of camera shot .
Anyhow, thanks again & we hope to have another short clip following our local fly-in.
