CG Question
Start at the leading edge of the wing tube and adjust to your own liking. Back for 3D. Try flying inverted and if you need a lot of down to keep it level then move the CG aft a bit at a time. Bill

Lanier CAP CG
If you are new to this plane, I would suggest putting the CG 1" in front of the wing tube. Like all CAP's, this plane tends to build tail heavy. Coupled with immense elevator authority, it can make flying the plane challenging. A CG 1" in front of the wing tube makes this plane a joy to fly----very docile. Once you're used to the plane's characteristics, you can then move the CG gradually aft while keeping easy control. If you are an experienced CAP pilot or 3D pilot, put the CG on the front edge of the tube from the outset. Have fun.......WarpedWing.
