Default Harrier help

Im having some trouble trying to do a harrier..I have an OMP Edge profile and a Funtana 40..I can get excellent elevators from both planes but when I try to get them to harrier they go from the a elevator right to a hover..From the elevator I slowly add power to stop the descent but then it starts hovering..Im using spoilerons on both planes. Sometimes I can get it ti harrier but only for about 10-15 seconds then it wants to hover..Obviously there is something Im not doing right but I give up!![&:]

maybe:
A: Too much throw.( I know,we're talking 3-d and there's "no such thing"' but I've read posts where guys were having trouble with the EF 540, then reduced throws and suddenly, the plane flew great.)
B: Too much spoileron
C: Too much backpressure on the right stick

Then again, maybe it's none of these things. Just a thought.

Too much throttle AND elevator together will put all planes into a hover. It's a feel thing, you can use the throttle AND/OR elevator to keep the angle of attack. A real balancing act if you're new at it, especially if the wind is gusty.

all you got to do is add power in the elevator and let up on the right stick until the nose is still highalpha but you are flying level in a harrier, thats what i do with my extreme extra, oh yeah practise to get the "feel" have fun!

I am just learning to do harriers with a Shockflyer, and just set the throws so that on low rate elevator I would use full stick to do a harrier. Then when I want a little more deflection (rarely needed) I can just flip a switch.
