Default What material do you use as ribbon for your plane?

Hello!!!
I want to use a ribbon in my Funky (with an OS 50 SX) 3d plane to "draw" the maneuvers in the sky. I can't use an smoke system because the size of this plane. What should I use to make a ribbon? How do you install it? What wide and what length?

I want to use it to an exhibition next sunday, so please tell me it early. [&:]

Thank you very much

You can use crepe paper from a party store but that breaks easlily.
I use some plasticy-orange ribbon that I found at the hobby shop.
You can also use the ribbon from an old VHS cassett. [sm=bananahead.gif]

I use 1" caution tape found at any hardware store. Comes in a variety of easily-visible colors. And it's nylon so it won't break easily.

you need it to break easy Aaron. get it in the prop and your stuffed, it'll wind around the prop thingy and will stop your engine, if not worse and break it. Use crepe paper as that will break if it hits the prop. CPLR wont use streamers anymore because one year he was doing a display and the unbreakable streamers got tangled around the crankshaft, stoped the engine and made the plane crash, from this day on he wont use them because of tht. use crepe papaer, prob not as good in the air but it could save allot of money in the long run
