we've got our local battery guy and Stan Yeo from Phoenix Models, i think our other local guy is at the Farnbrough show.
we're a local show and as such dont have large trade stands, we make up for that with just a fun show and relaxed atmosphere... and come on, we're holiday central! even Radio 1 were down our way today.

what a day, hot humid, furious funfighter slots, 12 up at once????!!!!!!!!! i lost my FW-190 in the first slot after that mysterious aileron problem from Sandown came back, this time they didn't come back and after a few circuits in the distance with just throttle and elevator to loose height slowly it kicked over a few more degrees just feet from the gorund. maybe not a total loss but a heck of a rebuild.
all the pics will be up soon, my cams still at the field and i've come back to dump whats left of the FW-190 and also my Diamond Dust back home, but at least the Outlaw has nicked the 190's engine and will be back out tonight.

heres some pics..
first a generated image of our field.. I've outlined it in blue and added the patch
things getting set up Saturday morning
Gordon and Mike, set up and ready
and the first fatality, first slot my FW-190 gets the aileron problem again from Sandown and this time never regains them, i was lucky to land it as i did.

how not to launch a Magnum
1 use UC
2 use a engine really not up to the job
Cartman got it flying and the landing ripped the UC out, all ends well then
how to do it propperly, Magnum chase.

Andrew looses his FW-190 in the second funfighter slot
My Dust locks out over the fence, check out the harvesting the prop did on the way in, helped to find the engine and pipe further down.
on to evening flying now, Adams heli at the hands of Choppy goes in after the tail rotor pushrod snaps. you know it's a bad crash if Choppy ducks

Sunday morning, bright sun and sore heads don't mix
but time for the Funfighter slot, 12 up and we're all out for a good time.. it can't end well..
Chris is the first to go with a downwind deadstick.
Steve picks up whats left of Roger's Spitfire after a midair with Jamie's Spitfire
