Default Flat spin with Mini-3D?

Ok I have tried to flat spin with my mini-3D but can't get it to do that? I have been flying for 15 years and have flat spin planes before but I can't get this one to do it? What am I doing wrong? Could someone walk me through on how to flat spin my Mini? Thank you very much. Maybe I have too much throw? Can't be too little I have tons I like lots.

Thanks,

Brian

I have a U Can Do thats hard to spin, It's easier inverted though.
I cut throttle, point nose down, 2 turns w/ Left aileron, hit a blender, SLLLOOOOOOWLY cross right & down with right stick while rolling up on throttle.

I should mention I fly this plane with full deflection, VERY tail heavy, and little expo.
There is a "sweet spot" on my right stick in the upper right corner that I MUST hit to get it to spin. To little deflection, and she spin/dives lamely down. To much and it will either spin/waterfall/spin/etc or simply stop all together. But when it's done right MAN DOSE SHE EVER!!!! She gets FLAT, and with careful throttle management she'll start climbing. What a treat!!

Good luck!!
hope you get it figured.
p.s. Check your CG 1st!!! nose heavy dosen't help at all.

Thank you for the information. I like my planes tail heavy as well with tons of throw.

stein,

I have one of the mini's and I too had a hard time to get it to flat spin. I did finally get it and found that I needed an aft CG and very little rudder. The more rudder, the more it would turn out of the spin. I do use high rate for the elevator, but low rate on the ailerons and rudder. Hope this helps.....if you need more specifics on the exact throws, let me know and I will get out the throw meter and get back with ya.
