I just bought this plane, Most of the post that I have read talks about reinforcing the landing gear block. How do I do this? Anything else that needs reinforcing? I just dont want to put one flight and go straight to the bench. Thank You

Default RE: U-Can-Do 3D 46

ive had two of these planes. The first one had a hard time being my airplane. i learned a lot from it and crashed it 4 times broke the landing gear block out several times during crashes but it went back in with ease. the first 3 crashes brake the fuse in half behinmd the wing and it went back together fairly strait and easy eacch time. 4th time was i bit worse so i got another one.

the new one i have has had some fairly rough treatment. including deadstick landing with the wind that bounced off the cowl and gear. looked and sounded pretty rough but there was no damage. also once i was coming in for a landing and had a dumb thumb moment and gave down elevator input 10 feet off the ground. it made an awefull thud in the grass, bent the LG up pretty bad but again no damage.

so anyway i wouldnt reinforce anything because unless you do pretty bad things to it it should hold up. and reinforcment adds weight.

i reallize some other people will have a different opinion but his is mine.
