Default realflight 3D plane

does anyone have a plane that was made that does the closest match to real 3d plane on real flight if so where can i download it from? I have tried all the ones on realflights site and some will hover but not good for much else and some will do other 3d manovers but hover like crap. does anyone have a well rounded plane for this? I was flying online the other day with a guy that had a modded cap 232 that looked great and he said it was the best one he found but he couldnt sent it to me.[]

Try the hagar 9 funtana posted on the G2 swap page. Its based on the Extra 330s (so you'll need add on's V4). It 3D's really well.

yes i have that and tweaked it.. it does well but still lacking. its more difficult than a real plane to hover which is not a bad thing if you are practicing. as a matter of fact its what i fly evry time but i am still looking for the combo that hits me like a favorite plane you take to the field.. im sure its out there. i just havent found it yet

I would like the Funtana aswell G2 version or addons 1 or 3. I think you sent it to me a few months back, it was a great flying plane, but I formated my HD and lost it.
Thanks,
Steve

hey guys,
i took kyles freestyle extra and have been editing it for about 6 months now and i finally got it to where it flies like my foamy!
my mom has a digital camera at her work and i'll try to get a video for you to see really how good it flies but i can't send the files to anyone because my simulator is on a seperate computer and it does not have the internet. sorry guys but at least you can enjoy the video, it might be towards the end of this week before i can get it done!

p.s. try not to hover to low the ground is very hard!

Do yourself a favor sell real flight and buy AFP. You wont regret it and it will teach you 3D like no other sim. If you practice on RF you will learn all over again when you get to the field and IMO be very unhappily suprised at the difference between RF and the real thing. Now AFP is a totally different story, for 3D learning i mean. THe physics engine is unmatched and teaches you not only the correct inputs but how the plane is supposed to react at zero speed and just prop wash across the control surfaces. A simple test hover a plane in RF and try to counter the torque by deflecting oposite alerons. It wont stop, until the plane has forward motion then you will see a counter rotation. None of the downloaded planes can stop either. Thats the big diff and IMO there are no RF planes that will simulate what the real ones will do at the field downloaded or stock. Of course i have said this before but just in case, IMO. Do a post search on the best sims for 3D you'll see. I had the same question as you and found the only way to get the right answer is to buy AFP and get out to the field and compare them all for myself.

The Ultimate Perso is my favorite for G2. I also have the Extreme 330 profile on G2 which works very well and so does the Funtana on G2. I have the Funtana S 90 in real life and made a color scheme version for G2. I sent it to Great Planes hoping that they would list the color scheme, but I didn't think that they would being it is made by Hanger 9. That would promote another companies plane. It uses the same Funtana plane that is on the Swap page, so Add on 4 is needed.

Here is the original post I did.

Yea I hear ya Im faced with similar situation. I got while the gettin was good had RF and sold it that gave me more than enough to get AFP. My job being the only income into the house right now bites big time. Slows the RC spending situation down a bit. Man I cant wait for my wife to get back to work. I NEED TOYS!!!!
