Default Cuda

Hey Andrew,

Can you give us a flight report on the Cuda? Compair it to a Carden 40% Extra maybe?

How is the harrier?

Thanks

Rob,

Sorry for not getting back sooner but have been super busy practicing and have not been able to check my mail. As for the compairson it will be hard to compare. I will say that the cuda is the best rolling harrier plane I have ever flown. With same difflection on the ailerons it rolled so smooth and axle. I feel that the Extra has a little more tail authority then the cuda for say walls and paracutes. I think that this is because of the lower wing loading which makes things funnier when it is less as it flys slower. Power is crazy on this a ton of it. I flew a bunch of my masters sequence at the Dogs show when flying this that is how smooth this plane will fly. For Harriers it is like any plane with a lot of wing( at least the ones I have flown) There is a certain point at which the airplane will rock its wings but when you get past this point it locked right in. It felt very neutral in the torque roll not to much for corrections.

If you have any more questions let me know.

Andrew

Hey Andrew how is the cuda at 3-d. will it do everything you ask it. how are the walls & water falls & flat spins ETC. Sure could use your input on the cuda. I cant make my mind up between the cuda or a WILDHARE 540.

Bodymann,

I am not very familar with the Wild Hare edge but I will say the cuda does all of these manuevers with ease. It has been a while since I flew it so some things are not that easy for me to remember but all of the manuevers you listed seemed very easy.

Hello Andrew

I buy the cuda and a friend of mine is working in it. I go whit DA 50 R standard muffler, but what servos are the best for this plane, I have a Futaba radio.

Thanks

Carlos,

If you want to stick with futaba I would run 9152's on ever surface and a 3102 on throttle.
That set up sounds like a killer one. If I had more time I would build one but I have no time.

Hola Andrew.

Good, the first thing that should I say is the Cuda is a marvelous plane.

In its first flight did not need a single click, fly right, leveled and balanced, is an airplane very stable, easy to land and their flight is majestic.

I am beginning it to know, but inspires a lot of confidence.

In few words ¡AWESOME¡

Thanks

I have some pics but I do not know put them in this forum[:-]

Thanks

Hello Andrew

I report you the flights of the Cuda on Saturday passed.

The plane is very fast and has in low velocity a great stability.

This time one of the 5 better pilots of Mexico Ricardo Camberos also flew it. Hi alpha knife edge is awesome, Hover very easy, torque roll, rolling harrier all does easy, very fast rolls, in short I am very happy with the Cuda.

Greetings
