From: Buffalo Grove,
IL,
The guys at the hobby store showed me the Hangar 9 Twist 3D and the Ultra Stick. Opinions on these? Any other ARFs I should consider?
Thanks,
Glenn

The Twist would be my choice. I fly mine with a 61FX &13X4 prop and it has unlimited vertical.
If I catch it just right it will actually maintain altitude or climb a little in a inverted flat spin.
Great plane for $99.
Anytime I go to the field without it I regret it.

get Seagull Funstar 40 3D your engine will be great for it. I'm flying mine on OS70 with 14x4 apc prop. This thing does anything you want. Excellent value for the money.

All of these are great choices. I have both the CG Extreme 330 and the 540. I would sell my 540 in a heartbeat but my 330 and I just seem to click. This plane does anything I can do and more. Flatspins, both inverted and upright are sweet. As a matter of fact, just today I got it into such a fast upright flatspin, I landed just to make sure everything was still intact. I fly both with a Saito 72 and APC 13-4W props.
Sweet flying machine, the 330 of course.
