I have been flying a sig four star 60 for awhile now. I can confidently do things such as immelmans, split s's, hammerhead stall, inverted flight, snap rolls. What are the moves that I should be focusing on next to get futher along in this hobby. Since the four star isn't a 3d plane i guess I am limited, but i would like to know what the full capabilities of such a plane are.

I would work on slow rolls. Try to do this on a straight and level path without gaining or losing alltitude. Make one roll last the whole length of the runway. You will have to correct with rudder and elavator while rolling to make it look good.
Being able to do all the moves is fine but try to focus and perfect all the moves you can do, there is always room for improvement with any move.

I would have to agree with Cap232cm. Now that you can do all of the moves you listed, start making the moves perfect. Such as.... in a split ess, making sure you enter and exit with the wings perfectly level and the loop portion round. Most pilots loop gets bigger at the bottom os a split ess. Also look at your up and down lines, are they perfectly vertical? Are they tracking to the left or right slightly? Next thing to start working on is slow rolls and point rolls.

When you do them, do them correctly. Nest maneuver, slow rolls and rolling circles. These will take a lot of practice to do them without loosing altitude and look impressive.

Definatley agree with all the above points but i would also add that you must perfrom them rolling left and right AND flying from left to right and right to left (if this makes sense). This avoids you becoming "handed" i.e only being able to do a manouever from a certain direction and in a certain way.
Above all have fun!

I would say before you even start doing slow rolls, master two other maneuvers first: 3 rolls, and 3 loops.
The 3 rolls should start straight and level, traveling with the wind and should be in as straight a line as possible as if the plane had a wire running through the nose to the tail. (Note: this maneuver is the precursor to learning slow rolls)
The three loops should start straight and level, into the wind, and should be round and one on top of the next, as if, if you were blowing a smoke trail, you would only see ONE circle. (This maneuver is the precursor to other maneuvers such as Cuban 8's)

Another good technique for practicing is taking the manoevers you can do well and putting them together....say your own little turn around pattern. this way not only are you concentrating on the move you are doing, but how to get set up to go into the next one.

Try rolling circles - you use the elevator when the plane is in knife- edge to steer the plane in a circle while at the same time using rudder and elevator to keep the nose up.Also, try a blender because you don'tnecessarily need a 3D plane to do this manuver.have as much throw on the controls as you can get .While going straight down suddenly apply full down elevator, full left aileron, full right rudder and have the throttle at idle.Do this at height so You don't get caught out!

While I will agree with your next step is learning to fly humptybumps and cuban-8's.
I don't know about trying a rolling circle as your next step.

Rolling circles are easy once you get the timing down and they make people stop and look not to mention that they are a good way to work ailerons , rudder and elevator together in time with each other. I do them with my simple avistar trainer/sport. so you don't need some high dollar aircraft to do them and make them look good.
Maybe I set goals to high for myself, or maybe that could be why I am as good of a flier as I am. "not to ring my own bell" I worked all summer my second year of flying to do these, cuban 8s and humptybumps took me about a month each.
slow and smooth, that is the way to do it

We are about 65-70 miles north of Indy on the Mississinewa reservoir. Missisinewa Skyhawks r/c club AMA charter 281.
I noticed on your site you had a 140fz on a Giles. How did you like it? Thinking about putting one on my Goldberg ultimate. I have the 91fz on my 60 gp Giles. Love it.
