Hi Ian,
My West 36 T1 works fine on the ground but when I fly it engine stops for some reason, I had 7 dead sticks. I think that it has to do with either the tank or the exhaust pressure to the tank. I think the air coming from the nipple of the genesis pipe is not enough.
The problem is that I thought the it had to do with the low speed needle of the carb so I lost the original factory setting which was ok. Do you know where the factory setting is?
I use Model Technics 10% fuel, I notice that the fuel coming from the exhaust is a bit black. Anyway can you please give me your settings, fuel etc. and where the original factory setting is?
Did you use the original tank of the kit?? Why does it have two breathing tubes??
Please help!! I really want to fly this plane, this engine is very powerful on the ground if it works on air I'm gonna have real fun!!
Thanks and regards,
Nik
ps: If anyone rather than Ian could help, his advice would be more than wellcome.

One takes exhaust pressure, the other is for refueling. Ensure that the fuelling line is closed when not in use.
If you still have trouble, ask in the engines forum. Helpful bunch in there.
