Anyone with any pictures or links to the installation of the MK elevator bellcrank assembly?
I am considering installing one in a 90 size Balsa fuselage, and would like to know if it will fit, and how it will install in a balsa fuse. I have seen several in FGlass fuses, but never in a balsa fuse.
Is it removable?
Can it be taken out for service if needed, without major work to the fuse area? etc?
Any pics,links, thoughts appreciated.

This sounds like the same dilemma I'm in. I'm working on a Widebody and trying to figure out the split elevator linkage. I'm thinking of a pull-pull arrangement, but I need to figure out how to drive both halves from a single servo/tiller.
I've thought about the MK bellcrank myself, but I'm not sure about how to install it. Can it be installed in a fuselage without an access hatch?

I'm wondering how heavy it is though. I saw elsewhere on here that is weighed as much or more than putting two servos back there.
Kindof defeats the purpose if that is the case.

No they arent that bad at all...I had one in my hand this week...I would put that back there instead of two servos any day. I wreck my bipe yesterday...when I get the next one, The bellcrank is going in there. I think they are a bit overpriced...we are working on something homemade. But since its here I am going to use it

The MK bellcrank is easy to install, requires no access hatch, and is not heavy. rcavi8ter, (my son), has these installed on 3 planes now and we will use them on a couple more in the near future. By way of explaination, these are on 1.20 size planes and smaller, not his 33% planes.

To install you need only two holes in the tail where it goes. It is removable if necessary. It is very light, compared to two servos. Central hobbies sells them for $35.00. There are pictures in the ARF forum under the Aeroworks Edge 540T 60/90 topic. I put one in my Edge and really like it better than the two servos.
