you can very well hover on G2 lite, i have done it at my hobby shop, even the trainer will, that is actually one of the easiest to hover, just move the throttle trim all they way up, and keep on the right rudder, should have some results
Good luck,
Scott

go to www.flyingcirkus.com, register, then go to 3D-University, download/watch thier very good, informative instructional video on how to hover.
disclaimer, I have no affiliation with them, just love thier 3DU stuff

jeang, amen on the practice. Sure CG, power, throws, and even type of plane all play a big part. However, people tend to want a secret technique or plane that makes hovering really easy. (The Spad 3d is probably the easiest) The main ingredient is alway practice. A young pilot told me his Magic wouldn't hover like mine does. I said I bet his could hover and preceeded to hover it easily. I talked him afterwords and offered some tips, but the biggest tip was practice. Within 2 weeks, he was hovering all around the field. I asked him what helped him master it and it was practice. I think it is "the touch" or "instinct" you pick up with practice.
