Hey guys, This is probably a stupid question but is there any way to make colored smoke for my Gasser. It would be awsome performing with colored smoke. Let me know if there is any way I don't think there is, but I want to confirm it. Thanks

Hello,
John Hogg in Manchester supply coloured smoke dyes. This can stain your plane though if you mix it with the diesel and inject it into your exhaust. The only way you can stop it from staining is to have a seperate tank for your dye and one for your diesel. You inject the diesel into the exhaust and inject the dye into the smoke trail as it comes out. It will work mixing with the diesel but as its been burned it will stain the whole plane. The bad thing about coloured smoke is it is very expensize and will cost you around 450 for 5 gallons. you mix it at 1-1. When I last spoke to them they said they tried it on a model and it produced good red smoke but the plane was covered in it. The number for John Hogg is 01618725611 or look on there website at www.johnhogg.co.uk. They supply the Red Arrows and the Russian Aerobatic Teams.
Hope this helps
James
