I am putting together a 60 size U-CAN-DO and have what is probably a dumb question. I am installing the aileron servos. The instuctions say to tie the string to the servo wire and then pull the center of the string out of the servo hole and then pull the wire through the wing. Question: Is there supossed to be a hole in the center of the wing to pull the wires through? Mine does not. Where does it go?
Thanks

Yes, on top of the wing dead center a few inches behind the leading edge there is a hole about 1/2" in diameter below the monokote. Find the hole and cut the monokote and you will see the string in there. They set it up so that its east to fish the string out of the hole and then tie the other end of the servo lead and pull er on through.

Hi PeteS,
Something I have found useful is to take a little pencil tip soldering iron and use it to make the holes in the covering. [hot of course] It seals and makes a real smooth edge and if it raises a little lip of melted covering it can be broken off when cool.
