Default Inverted, low wing and CG

On most low wing airplanes, when inverted, should you have to give it any evelavtor stick, or should it fly hands free level? Do you adjust it with CG?

You adjust it with CG. The further forward your CG, the more stick you have to give it inverted.

If you get the CG far enough back that you have to use virtually no down elevator inverted, the airplane will lose it's self-pitch correcting capacity to wind gusts which can make landing on a blustery day challenging.
