Well if you want 3D on a budget I recommend a profile, OMP makes really good kits and there are some great arf's available... Morris also has several ARF profiles (Knife, Topcap Sudokhoi etc.)--- I even have a Sportsman Aviation Hot-Knife that flies really well for $80 (ARF) [X(]
If you want a "fuse" the Funtana is EXTREMELY popular (I am building one now-) and is capable of crazy 3D when overpowered... Not familiar with the Midwest Extra. The UCD-46 seems to get good reviews and the Flip-3D was popular awhile back---
Keep us posted- What engines do you have to choose from?

You said GAS. Did you mean gasoline or glow fuel? Makes a big difference in price and equipment recommendation. How much are you willing to spend?
If you were talking about gasoline I would go for the Wild Hare Edge or Extra or even better to me is the Chip Hyde Double Vision Biplane and a DA 50. Either would be a great choice I believe. The DV is more expensive but it comes with the hardware package which would run you about $150 separately. So say the WH is about $100 less if you include hardware in the price of both planes. There are lots of good 3D planes out there, just have to pick that one that is right for you and your budget!
If you were talking glow I personally like the Flip 3D and the 40 size U CAN DO. I havent flown a funtana but I have heard good and bad things about them. I think in the hands of a good pilot and with a big engine they can be a lot of fun. If you want to stepup to what I think is probably the ultimate glow 3D plane check out Extreme Flights Yak that is built around the YS 1.10. ITs more expensive but it sure is a nice looking and great flying plane.

oh I am sorry I mean glow fuel. We always just call it gas sorry. I will probably get a futana due to its price. I have flown 3d for about a year but still want some practice on a cheaper plane before I do in a 2000 dollar plane. What engine would you recomend I would like to get the futana 90. It is affordable for me and I like its size.
Thanks
