What is the best 3D plane for a saito 100 that is an ARF???
Anybody out there have the Saito 100 on the u-can-do-3D bird? I was curious if the 100 have enough power to pull this plane outta a low hover with authority......... I have a Saito 100 looking for a ride as well, and was kind of thinking of this plane myself.

U-Can-Do 3D
From what I saw today this one should be a winner. It had a OS 91 4Stroke and a 15x6 APC. It belongs to an experienced 3D flyer. First flight was today, and he was already bumping the rudder on the ground. The engine isn't even broken in good yet. I bought a digital scale and had it calibrated after I got the Aeroworks Rock (I mead Edge) that came in at 10lbs 8ozs. This plane ready to fly came in at 7lbs 10ozs (weighed after 2nd flight with a little fuel left in the tank) He did not do anything special to lighten it, all stock hardware. He did let me fly it once and If I didn't already have 4 planes in various building stages already (not including the ones currently flying) I think I may have been able to talk him out of it.
To bad the saito 150 that came off my edge (well, technically it is still attached to the firewall, Just not the rest of the plane) is to big for this plane.

I also witnessed the same one jnjackson is referring to and got a chance to fly it.
Without a doubt that is the plane for your Saito 100.

I saw one at our field over the weekend powered by an OS 91 FX, so I see not reason that Saito would power it nicely.

I saw one fly in Kennett, Mo this weekend. He had a OS 91fx 2stroke w/ a moosecan muffler. All I can say is WOW.
This thing has elevator controls throws that looked like 60-75 degrees.
And the flight performance was great. My brother bought 1, So I get closer look at it when he gets it done.
