any body have any experince with this plane. I just got one with a Moki 2.10. was wondering how it will 3D with this engine.

I have the same plane / engine combo. Although the rudder was damaged in shipping and am still awaiting a replacement....so i can finish it.

i am about to start the dp 540 with the 2.1 moki. is this a great engine or what?? i cannot believe the pull on my wagstaff extra, i expect the same on this bird.

Moki 2.10 is at least 20 lbs of thrust on a 14-15 lb bird, 1200 square inches of wing area. It will 3D great.

Just wondering when you guys ordered/received your planes. I ordered an all-white version at the I-Hobby expo in Chicago last October and am still waiting.... Was told Februrary delivery but can't seem to get DPM to respond to any recent correspondence or phone messages. They just updated the website (2/22) saying that their cubs are due in April with Edges and Extras another 6 to 8 weeks after that. Don't know about you guys but 8 months seems a rather excessive time to wait for a plane you ordered.....

IShootSharpStix, last time I was at Venture Hobbies in Wheeling, Il they had a white one in stock. Give them a call, it couldn't hurt.
