Default Is this Bipe 3D-able

I received this Bipe off as a gift. It was bought on Ebay. I'm not even sure exactly what it is. I think it was built from a kit, but I have no idea what kit. It's .60 sized. I'll be putting a Saito 1.50 on it. My question is, do you guys think it will be 3D-able based on the control surfaces in the picture? If not, any thoughts on perhaps making larger control surfaces for it? I'm particularly concerned about the ailerons.

I normally do plenty of research beforehand, but like I said, this was a gift that I had no part in shopping for.

Looks like a Sig Hog-Bipe. If so, it's not a 3-D plane even with mods. It's a great Sunday flyer to work the kinks out of the old thumbs or just have a stress-free flight. To heavy and to small surfaces for high alfa flights. Sunny

A friend of mine has an old Hog that he let me fly- one thing to watch for- if you get crooked, or fall out pf something it takes a while to get this girl flying straight again- it is actually very simple- when she gets squirrely point the noise down- airspeed is your friend with this plane. She will slow down very nice for a landing, but exiting flat spins or botched maneuvers takes some altitude.

Great flying plane though- you will have a blast with it. I'm jealous! I want one!

Thanks for the input guys. I guess it won't hurt to have a Sunday flyer. Looks like that 1.50 will be overkill now. If I'm not 3D'ing it, no point in having that much motor out front.

Yes, it is a Hog Bipe from SIG. I had one, as well. Fun airplane. No, it will not do 3D. Put a .90 fourstroke on it and you'll have a lot of fun.

it'll 3d if you put the 1.50 in it, enlarge the control surfaces by 2.5 times and add an extra couple of wings on top and move the CG about 2 inches back lol.....well even then it probaly wont 3d but it'll be damn funny to watch it fly!
