today I maidened one of my mad scientist type plane projects. I took a Sig Somthin' Extra, and moved the tail feather servos in the tail, put an old TT.91 four stroke on the nose, and set it all on some U-can-do landing gear. It's still nose heavy,I ran out of lead a while ago, but This thing is INSANE. It can take off in 6 feet or less, flys like a rocket, lands like a kite, goes from high speed pattern to slow 3D with ease! this plane will be a keeper with a little tweaking!

I did the same to mine a while back. I enlarged the rudder, put an Irvine 61 on for power, used Graphtech landing gear (light weight), and put the rudder servo in the tail (5645). It is a total 3D plane now. I have over 100 flights on it and it is a keeper.

I strapped an HB .61 PDP on mine. I flew the crap out of it. Then sold it on eday. It took off in a short distance and was pretty fast. On high rates the rolls were just unreal. Good thing I had all checkers on the bottom of the wing.

mine is great with a k&b 61 and enlarged tail feathers. My cg is a little fwd right now, but it is by far my best flying plane. It will do a KE loop. I'll post some pics later, gotta eat now.
