Hi folks, I wanted to ask a question here that hopefully someone can shed some light on.
I fly without any mixers etc, but after playing around with my transmitter (FF8) the other day noticed I can make a switch do the following:-
Normal flying and controls are normal but when i flick a certain switch (this is on 3d planes like my Funtana, Magix extra etc)
When the switch is on when i move the elevator both the ailerons move in the same direction as the elevator, i still can also have aileron normal control but both my ailerons would go up with the elevator etc and down on down command, I was wondering do you use this and if so what is it called and what do you use it for.
Because i dont fly (at the moment) with any different mixes, no one in my club knows that kind of stuff, im the only one who can prop hang etc and do a bit of 3D. Some info would be great.
Many thanks

You've discovered spoilerons and flapperons! Spoilerons are when both ailerons move up when you apply up elevator and down when you apply down elevator. Flapperons are when both ailerons move down when you apply up elevator and up when you apply down elevator.
