Default Creek Hobbies 1/4 scale Extra

I was just wondering if anybody has owned, or flown this plane. I bought one at a swap meet this past week. I dont really care if it 3D's well or not (thats what I have my profiles, Wild Hare Extra and Extreme Flight Yak for).

Also what motor did you match with this plane??

I had one, it was an O-K flying plane. I had the 160fx on it and that was a great match up. The plane didn't really like to fly too slow, but the 160 fx would hover it, and the airplane would do great flat spins and snaps. The main problem was the spring that is used to hold the wings together, I had a friend who lost his because the spring failed. I always used large zip ties without any problems. Good luck.

The one that I bought already has a bolt and nut method inserted into the wing to keep it attached to the fues. I have a Moki 1.80 laying around that I plan to stick on it. I just need something smaller to fly some IMAC with. My 35% is too much of a handful to pull out everyday.

Moki 1.8 should be even better, I remember I lot of guys planes came out really tail heavy, with 3 servos mounted in the tail as recommended. Mine had a pull pull on the rudder so it wasn't too bad. But the Moki should be a killer combo. Good luck.
