Mini Hype

Does anyone have any experience with the Weston UK Mini Hype?
Looks like they should have been around for a while now. How do you think it would go with a OS 52 four stroke?
Any other recommendations for 3D capable models (that don't look like a box with wings on the top) for 52 four strokes?

Mini Hype?????????? Didn't know they made one. I have a mini Flip and it rocks. The big Hype flys so well, the mini should do the same. Little 52 stroker is a strong motor.

I spoke to Siclick at the weekend, and saw his mini-hype, it flew well with the 52, though he did say it didnt quite have the same punch as his friends powered by an Irvine 39.

Sorry, been away from the computer all weekend. I probably won't see him until middle of september, have you tried sending him a personal message?

Sorry, I haven't checked this thread since the demise of the Mini Hype due to RX failure.
I have replied to the PM and hope you have the answers you need.
As McFlyboy says, it is a great plane but needs a light 2 stroker. Irvine 39 is a powerful little motor.
Can't help with the comparison as I haven't flown the big one yet.
McFlyboy. Nice to meet you the other day but will have to miss the September fly in due to work. I may be at West Calder for the 3D training session on 9th Sep if you're going down that way.

Nice meeting you too. Not sure about the West Calder event yet, if I can convince one or two of the Aviemore guys to go then I'll make it with them, but Loch Insh is that weekend so I'm quite committed to that[

This engine should be good for Mini-Hype [link]http://www.webra-austria.at/motor.php?search=1023GT&folder=AERO&lang=EN[/link]
What prop should I use for 3D?

The West 36 that Weston UK match with the Min Hype is very similar to the Webra (I think it comes from the same factory) so that should be great.
I just maidened my waterplane today (off land) so I may well be at Loch Insh too, but not sure what day yet
