Default EF Yak 54 68" engine?

I'm on the verge of buying this wonderful plane but have no idea what kind of power plant to strap on? I would like a 4 stroke that will give me a hover at half throttle but I would also want a light engine to. So what do you guys use?

If you can find one (EF54) grab it now. YS110 is the power plant--a lot of others will work well also. Just about anything that can spin at least a 16 x6 apc 9200+rpm and weigh less than 40oz with muffler will work good.

My YS 110 weighs 27.5oz and spins the 16 x6 apc 9,500 on CP 30%

Matt52x.. They say the E.F. Yak 54 68" was designed around the
YS 110.... And all reports states it's a great combo... I'm sure
other engines will work, But keep the useable weight down for
the best results, and also at least the same power and up as
the YS 110...... I believe GPSpacewalker meant 30% Cool

If you want to see this engine and plane combo, check out the ULTIMATE 3D video. Chris Maiers states that the YS gives this plane slightly more than a 2 to 1 power to weight ratio. I beleive he 's using an apc 17x8 prop in the video.
