if u do not want to cut clearance for mufler and dont want to buy pitts mufler, u can also buy the muffler extention fron os, its about 10$, it fitts 61fx and 91fx as well... works perfect, but might have to change carb settings...
re-drilling holes on firewall, dont think is dificult, i even used the same blind nutts...
ps: in this pic, i rebuilt the landing gear mount and therefore i changed the clearence i made for the old mufler too, since it was not going to fit with the new 91 fx..

FKY1000,
Wow, that's some serious looking muffler. I think a Pitts muffler will not fit inside the cowl either, as there's not much room below the engine inside the cowl. This cowl really is only good for inverted mounted 4-strokes, and perhaps a side-mounted small-case 4-stroke like YS 63.
I have a TT 61 Pro sitting around, and my Funtana 40 is also sitting around w/o flight pack. I haven't bothered to tailor the F40 for the TT61 yet.

if u chose to use the muffler extention, the entire muffler will be out of the cowl (there are 2 extentions, short and long; i used the long one, it extends the muffler 3.5cm or 1.37'')..
but if u chose to use pitts muffler, u may need to make a big hole in the bottom part of cowl...
well, have fun and be save guys!!!
