weighed my edge 540 w/0s160, 10.5pds, was very exited with the weight, carbon fiber gear, light foam wheels, sweet. However, tried an apc 18x6W and would only get about 15pounds of thrust on same scale. Any body getting different readings, if so what prop combination?

Yes it is the hangar 9. I realize that sounds real light, but it has mini's in the tail, moose carbon fiber, foam wheels, and I changed out the JR battery and replaced with light nickel metal custom pack. The digital scale put it exactly 10.5, no weight added anywhere.
I was told it should be more like 19 pounds of thrust, but I was only turning 8700 w/apc 18x6w. I think it should probably turn it around 9000 nice wihout running too lean, gonna try again today.
Charlie, the edge flys great. The tank had a huge whole in with a crack on the top, fuel got everywhere. Engine would run erratic till i realized the problem. Changed the tank from an 18 to 20 ounce and am getting 12 minute flights with half a tank left to go.
