I need info on smoke kits for my 40 and 60 size planes. I need manufacturer and complete kit info. Dollar amounts would be good also. I'm looking toward the cheaper side of the smoke world....keep that in mind..

its difficult to make a 40 or 60 smoke well, they don't really get hot enough. plus the extra weight isn't worth it

Agree ; Dificult to smoke 40-60 size engines ; At best you'll get a thin trail of smoke similar to a trail of smoke seen with rich engine settings. (I paid 100$
ump, tank, valves ,smoke oil ) on a pump system from towerhobbies but coudn't get my 60 Thundertiger engine to smoke better than it's rich trail smokin. Best smokin in Gazoline Engines and turbines. Good luck . (it was very tough to fit the smoke eqippment in my 60 size plane as well) ; Also we tried making custom smokin muffler: where we put a coil of brass tubing (inside muffler) to allow smoke oil to heat enough before it exits inside the muffler (and played a lot with amount of oil dripping speed from fast to slow ) that opens close to the engine's exhaust opening (inside muffler); still not a good visible trail ; So I quit. Hope to find other's experience better.

There is also "Smoke-write" I think, you can get them at tower Hobbies. They are a small tube about 1" dia and about 5" long strap it to your plane light the fuse and smoke away. It is pretty thick smoke and it's a lot sheaper than trying to deal with pumps and smoke oil.
