Default Stinger 120 - long or short wing?

I just received my new Stinger 120 kit. Unfortunately, my old one hit the ground a little too hard (read crashed). My old one had the full 80" wingspan, but I was thinking of shortening this one to the 72" version. It will most likely be powered by a G38. Just wondering if anyone has flown both versions. And if they have, how does the clipped wing compare to the full wing. I imagine that some of the slow speed manueverability will be lost. How about the difference in roll rate and such. Looking for an all around aerobat, not much 3d, just the occasional hover.

Thanks
