not the best engine for an areobatic plane, there are plenty of 73" or 1.20 size planes are there that alot of guys run 2.4cu engines, but not with the wieght of a mag on the front, you need electronic ign.

the only areobatic planes I could think of for this engine is an ultra stick, or a sig 4 star 120.....there are also some 1.20 stick type scratch built plans out there. No 3d, but all will do basic areobatics with this engine.

If you do go with a 1.20 plane get the H9 cap matt chapman, IMO the best 1.20 areobat out.

You could also look into converting you engine to electronic ign from www.ch-ignitions.com, for about $120 you will lose a lot of wieght by removing the mag, coil, and spring, you wil also add about 200-400 high end rpms with the new timing advance.

We were having a riot....perfect combo..good performance and landed like a trainer.

High Flights!

Well! Not much to pick from. Looks like a Midwest Extra to me. Thanks for the input anyway.
