Looks great! I plan on building one this winter, although I see now Pilot has out a
"Seduction Streamline", although I really like the looks of the "Freestyle".

Let us know the flight results and how was the build? Any issues?

Thanks,
Scott

Hi Scott ,
The construction is pretty much strait forward, the wood is laser-cut and the pieces do come together pretty easily.
you do have to be very careful to build the fuse strait and aligned, I made a simple jig in order to keep it strait.
The wing tips are made of clear plastic (like the canopy) I made a balsa block wing tips and curved out the core to gain some weight, be attend when you glue the two halves of the elevator so they will be level.

Will keep you posted after the first flight.
Adi.

Flew it for a year then sold it. Definitely overpowered with the YS-63 and APC 13x6. Mine was just as fast going straight up as it was going parallel to the ground.

Enjoy!

Thanks Jon595,
Nice job on the original scheme, nice decals.
what were your settings on the model (servos, CG, etc..)
can you say something about its flight characters, landing speed, etc..

Adi.

About the only negative thing I can say is that the ailerons were too small. Wish I had bought the "Ono Special", but thought the japanese salesperson was telling me "No Special" (like in they would not cut me a deal on the kit and were going to charge me full retail). The Ono Special, among other things, had much larger ailerons and was more tuned for 3D flight. Other than that it was a killer plane. Landing speed was farly slow, the supplied landing gear do not give enough ground clearance, so be careful landing or you will chip the prop.

Might set-up included JR 3421 digital minis on flight surfaces, and a digital micro on throttle. CG was around 130mm measured from the trailing edge forward.
